Welcome to the MBPA

If you have a student participating in any of the Jordan/Jackson, Qualters, or Mansfield High School band programs, including Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, or Percussion Ensemble, then welcome! You are indeed a member of the Mansfield Band Parents Association – it’s really that simple!

What does the Mansfield Band Parents Association (MBPA) do? Quite simply, we provide financial and logistical support to help the various ensembles perform at their highest level. Among other things, we coordinate closely with the school administration to: help provide transportation to events and competitions; design and build show sets, costumes and props; subsidize the cost of new instruments; and provide financial support to students.

If this is your first time here, please take a look around the site to learn about the various ensembles, the crucial fundraising activities performed by the MBPA, and – most importantly – how you can help support these amazing programs. We rely on an army of volunteers; whether your skills are in fundraising, woodworking, sewing, truck driving, or serving fast food, we’d love to hear from you. You can always find the latest news on events and volunteer opportunities here.

But first, make sure you’ve done the following:

Stay connected: Sign up to receive updates. Bookmark this site, and check back often, or follow us on Twitter to receive the latest news and updates. We also have a Facebook group for more informal connections.

Bookmark the online calendar, which contains dates, times and links for school program events, MBPA meetings and fundraisers, and Gillette events. The next few events are always highlighted in the “Upcoming Events” boxes on every page of the website, too.

Check out the Gillette fundraising program and sign up if you can when slots open up – it’s a critical part of how we support the school.

Thank you for your support. And welcome to the community.
